    Why I’m Running

    I am a first-generation college graduate, immigrant, entrepreneur, and longtime community leader. For the past nine years, Santa Monica has been my home. I believe public institutions work best when leadership listens, collaborates, and remains accountable to the people it serves.
    Santa Monica College should be a place where students succeed, workers prepare for the future, and public trust is earned through transparency and results.
    As Trustee, I will focus on outcomes; ensuring Santa Monica College remains accessible, supportive, financially responsible, and aligned with the needs of students and our local workforce.
